Car enthusiasts will be flocking to Paris at the start of this year for a trio of essential automotive events. If you’re passionate about vintage or classic cars, the vehicles of tomorrow or electrically powered motorsports, you must not miss Retromobile, Concept Cars or the E-Prix de Paris 2020...
Retromobile; for vintage and classic car buffs
If you’re a fan of beautiful old cars, then Retromobile is for you. This combined exhibition and trade show takes place at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre from February 5th to 9th, 2020. You’ll have the opportunity to meet manufacturers, representatives of clubs and federations, sellers of vehicles and spare parts, insurers... and all the other players in the auto-retro world.
Concept Cars; a glimpse into the automotive future
What could be a more beautiful setting than the Invalides to welcome prototype cars from the greatest international designers that are real works of art? This exhibition is part of the International Automobile Festival and can be viewed as the vehicular equivalent of the greatest haute couture fashion shows. Tomorrow's trends in the field of automotive design will be revealed from January 29th to February 2nd, 2020.
E-Prix de Paris; the atmosphere is electric!
In the era of sustainable development, this race represents the motorsports wave of the future. The Paris E-Prix is an annual international competition for 100% electric single-seater racing cars. This championship, scheduled for April 18th, 2020, sees car manufacturers such as Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, Nissan, Jaguar and DS pitting their cutting-edge racing cars against each other and taking on the challenge of a 1.93 km long circuit around the Invalides with 14 turns. It’s an opportunity to follow the performances of France’s own Jean-Eric Vergne, a member of the French and Chinese DS Techeetah team and the event’s double defending champion.
